Beachcombing at Point St. George

We had so much fun beach combing at Point St. George.  I'll let most of these photos speak for themselves.  We say lots of sea anemones and star fish and we even saw a whale not that far off the coast.  Seeing the whale spout was amazing.

The star fish were everywhere, much to Shawna's delight!

I know this is a lot of pictures of star fish but if I can't take them home with me at least I can have the photos.

Walking down to the beach.

There was a big old pile of driftwood in one section of the beach.

This is basically what our whole day looked like; walking along the beach, peaking in tide pools.

Whale spouting off in the distance!  Do you see the spray?

More whale spouting.

That tiny piece of black in the ocean is a whale. I know it's hard to see, I wish we would have had a big zoom lens with us.

Oh look, they're holding hands.  How cute.
